Successful implementation of “National Clean AirProgramme (NCAP)” of the MoEF & CC, Government of India, which has the objectives of- 1. Stringent implementation of mitigation measures for prevention, control and abatement of airpollution2. To augment and strengthen air quality monitoring network across the country3. Toaugment public awareness and capacity building measures.The Technical Consultant has to accomplish the following tasks:i) To monitor the implementation of clean air action plans under NCAP.ii) To evaluate the progress made in implementing the city/ state-wise action plansunder NCAP and to report on the aforesaid To monitor the implementation of the expenditure of the funds released by MoEF & CCto all States of non-attainment cities under NCAP.iv) To give the periodic feedback on the expenditure status.v) To give the feedback for the refinement of air action plans.vi) To coordinate activities of the NCAP at CPCB /MoEF & CC with SPCB and otherpartners.vii) To review the NCAP reports and analyze the air quality To support all NCAP activities at CPCB/ MoEF & CC as and when required.
