As a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in maintenance, operations, and project management, I am currently working for OM INFRA LIMITED on the construction of two powerhouses and their appurtenant works as part of the Hydel Channel of Shahpurkandi Dam Project for the WRD Govt. of Punjab. My key responsibilities include overseeing the maintenance, repairs, and operations of major construction equipment such as rollers, tippers, front-end loaders, transit mixers, tower cranes, dewatering mud pumps, and D.G. sets ranging from 20kVA to 500kVA. I also maintain records of all machinery diesel consumption and other workshop activities. In addition, I was responsible for the erection and commissioning of two batching plants (SBP-60×2) by Sany Putzmeister and the maintenance of cone crusher plants (200TPH). I ensure that the daily production of batching plants is maintained and update all plant maintenance and repair records. I also made all necessary arrangements for dewatering electrical mud pumps and calculated the efficiency of pumps. Furthermore, I oversaw the complete erection of a steel structural fabrication shop MT), including the erection of an E.O.T. crane (10 MT) and the installation of a plate bending machine. I also managed contractor billing. Overall, my expertise in maintenance, operations, and project management has been instrumental in ensuring the success of this project for our client.
