Developed and implemented a new data retrieval algorithm in READ_NOS to efficiently support reading of LOBs greater than 16MB and up to 2GB in parquet files stored on the Native Object Store (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform), increasing user satisfaction-> Developed the Schema evolution (Phase 1) feature, enhancing user experience with parquet files on the Native Object Store by implementing a name-based column matching and retrieval instead of an index based mechanism. This enables use cases like adding/removing columns anywhere in the parquet file (and in the subsequent foreign tables created), and reordering of columns->Identified and resolved critical bugs, leading to a decrease in customer complaints related to system errors.
