About Gaurav Dhawan
I\'m currently working as an Associate 2 within the Enterprise Technology team at Bain & Company.I have previously worked with PwC India as a Senior Consultant and have completed my MBA from the Department of Management Studies, Indian Insitute of Technology, Delhi. After completing my Bachelor\'s in Civil Engineering from PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh, I have worked with Atkins (SNC Lavalin) for nearly four years. I am an experienced professional in delivering ancillary civils and rail infrastructure solutions within the United Kingdom for globally renowned clients such as Network Rail, Alstom, etc.Being a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from PMI, I have had the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of projects in the construction industry. I was the Winner of iGDP 2017, which is a competition for new joiners in Atkins and also won the \"Best Technical Solution\" award during the Annual Atkins Excellence Awards 2018. During my time in college, I actively participated in extra-curricular activities and was presented with Certificates of Excellence for contribution to the Sports and Technical Society (American Society of Civil Engineers - PEC Chapter).My curiosity shapes my career goals to know more about the business world, with my career interests being management & strategy consulting, project/program/portfolio management, supply chain, advanced analytics, and finance.My hobbies are playing sports, especially cricket, and football, traveling, and non-fictional reading. I am also a firm believer in societal development and have played an integral role in the CSR activities of Atkins (in collaboration with the NGO\'s Goonj and Udayan Care) along with a few more initiatives on a personal level.
