HIGHWAYS: Develop and Utilize AutoCAD Software for preparation of: i. Alignment Plan: Preparing alignment Plan showing the center line, width carriageway edges, width of shoulders, drains, Structure etc. ii. Plan & Profile: Setting out P&P according to requirement, showing the Alignment Plan with its Horizontal & Vertical Geometry or earthwork with Culvert and Bridges. Preparing Detailed Drawing of Typical Cross Section & Detailed Cross Section with Schedule. iv. Utility Shifting Plan: showing location, size, and layout of all type of services. v. Drafting Existing Base Plan, Signage Plans, Base Map with Recommendation Plan etc. for various project under Road Safety Audit. vi. Develop & Rectify Junction & Blackspot Drawing as per IRC. vii. Utilizing CAD Tools & LISP to automate tasks, modify drawings and extend CAD’s functionality. LAND ACQUISITION: Superimpose Cadastral Maps or Topo Sheets provided by various Department in Format like TIFF, JPEG etc. on Highway / Survey Drawings in appropriate scale i.e. 1:3960 to analyze and assess land ownership, use, and changes over time and Draft Land Acquisition Plan. SURVEY: Plan, monitor, collaborate with Surveyors to analyze site conditions, topography, and existing infrastructure to complete analysis of Roadways. Ability to understand and work on LiDAR scan, Static, RTK, Total Station etc. data collected from site to ensure the preparation of Topographical Maps. Utilize advanced surveying instruments such as total stations, DGPS, Auto Level, LiDAR Technology to gather precise measurements for complete analysis of existing Lands, Plots, Parks, As- Built Structures and Roadways and use AutoCAD to create Detailed Topographical Maps from raw field Data. LiDAR: Uses Mobile Mapping Software like Trimble Business Center with Mobile Mapping workflows for: i. Classifying the Point Cloud into various regions like Building, Vegetation, Ground, Powerlines etc. ii. Filtering out the regions and create DTM / DSM, Creating Contours, Cross Sections and L-Section, iv. Extracting various features like: Roads, Ground levels, Utilities. v. Interpolating points between the two or more after creating a Surface Grid at regular interval.
