Manage all aspects of intellectual property issues at a multi-billion dollar global SaaS company- Patent Program: Build and manage a 900+ IP assets portfolio. Manage patent strategy given changing competitive landscape. Track and file based on latest product roadmaps. Outreach to various engineering and PM nodes for patent harvesting along with generating grass roots inventor involvement- Litigation: Manage all inbound and outbound litigations- Trademark & Brand: Advise business (Marketing/Brand) on Atlassian brand matters (clearance and enforcement), oppositions, and trademark litigations. Protect company brand via a tiered global trademark filing strategy - Open Source: Create and manage Open source policy for (1) using third party open source,(2) contributing to open source projects,(3) open sourcing projects, and (4) managing contributions to internal open source projects. Reduce Atlassian\'s risk profile from OSS violations via selected remediations (e.g. distributables vs. SaaS). Strengthen systematic compliance via automation and EDU. Manage OSS disclosure relationships with customers- M&A due diligence: Successfully identify IP & OSS risks and remediations. Partner with M&A legal team and business units to mitigate identify and mitigate risk- Product Counseling & Commercial Transactions: Advise commercial team on IP issues for in-bound and out-bound commercial agreements. Advise product teams on IP issues, e.g, IP contamination, domain conflicts, trade secrets etc- Patent Licensing, Acquisitions, & Targeting: Manage incoming adversarial patent licensing matters. Source, vet, and negotiate patent acquisition. Manage patent targeting program for Atlassian competitors & threats
