ABOUT GAUCHO RASMUSSEN
I joined The Pensions Regulator in October 2024 as the Executive Director responsible for regulatory compliance. Previously I worked at Amazon (September 2022 to October 2024), focusing on the EU regulatory matters, including the implementation of the Digital Markets Act. Before that I headed up Ofcom\'s enforcement function from 2016 until 2022, delivering robust, effective and timely enforcement outcomes across a wide and strategic portfolio of responsibilities. While at Ofcom I built a highly skilled and professionalized enforcement team and am an effective driver of organisational change and development, establishing new organisational functions from scratch or reforming existing functions to ensure they meet current and future organisational strategic needs. I am a successful builder of constructive internal and external stakeholder relationships at the most senior level. My multi-national background has been a key part of my professional success to date and I speak 7 languages, including English, Spanish, Italian and Danish.
