About Sergio C Gatoulis

Sergio Gatoulis is currently a Senior Medical Director within Pfizer Oncology, with a focus in prostate cancer. He was most recently a Medical Director with a focus in renal cell carcinoma (RCC) and immuno-oncology (IO). Prior to this he was a Senior Director of Global Clinical Research for Pfizer Consumer HealthCare (PCH), with a primary area of responsibility for two pipeline Rx-to-OTC switches, after serving as Director of Global Clinical Research with responsibility for Nexium clinical development. Before joining Pfizer, he held similar positions in Global Medical Affairs and Clinical Development at Bayer HealthCare, where he also completed his post-doctoral fellowship in Medical Affairs and Clinical Operations. There, he was responsible for key brands in the analgesic portfolio, including Aleve and Aspirin. He also supported the New Ventures team in the scouting of new opportunities in the digital health space. Sergio received his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. He continues to be active in the field of pharmacy, serving on the leadership team of the Industry Pharmacists Organization since its founding. He has also led the Rutgers Fellowship Program at Pfizer since 2016, most recently as co-Director with Lisa Tarasenko.
