About Gaston Keller
I am currently working as a Software Development Engineer for the AWS CodeCatalyst service. Previously, I was an SDE within the EC2 Core Platform organization at AWS, the Alexa Devices organization, and the AWS Storage Gateway service.I have a PhD in Computer Science from The University of Western Ontario, obtained under the supervision of Dr. Hanan Lutfiyya. My research addressed the challenges of dynamically allocating resources in virtualized data centres (or Infrastructure as a Service-type clouds), with an emphasis on system architecture and algorithm design. A list of publications can be found below.During my graduate studies, I worked as Instructor (and later on, Coordinator) for the Teaching Assistant Training Program (TATP) offered by the Teaching Support Centre at Western. In addtion, I have many years of experience working as Teaching Assistant, both in Canada and Argentina.
