ABOUT GASPARE BENENATI
I currently work for the Notified Body TÜV SÜD, where I assess In Vitro Diagnostic Class D devices. I have been authorized for several IVR codes such as IVR 01 (blood grouping), IVR 05 (infectious diseases assays) etc. The codes were obtained on the back of the manufacturing experience gained at Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics (20••••23) where I was able to fulfil several functions, from Project scientist to R&D Technical Lead. I previously obtained a PhD in Biological Science from the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics (MPI-CBG) and the Technische Universität Dresden (TU Dresden). I also have certificates of project management from IPMA: International Project Management Association and a Diploma in Leadership and Management from the British Chartered Management Institute. I was fortunate to study or work in five European countries. These experiences allowed me to gain a good understanding of the culture as well as the languages and the love for beign part of international teams.
