Mr. Barber drives new capability development involving modern technology through Architecting Enterprise Software Solutions leveraging multiple solutions, including SecDevOps, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Blockchain, Elasticsearch, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Machine Translation, Natural Language Processing, MuleSoft Any Point, JEE, SOA, Cyber Security, and Microservices. Some examples include; Digital Audio Video Encapsulation (DAVE), Artificial Intelligence/Machine Translation (ARABICNOW), GIS (DCGS-A), and data exchange of federated law enforcement and modernizations of Federal Financial systems. Mr. Barber has led teams, both domestic and international, concurrently. He has traveled to an active war zone in the Middle East to manage, deploy, configure, and integrate software applications with multiple Federal agencies. Mr. Barber works across Horizontal Business Unit (HBU)s opportunities as a SAIC Fellow, Master Solutions Architect, and Technical Director for clients such as CBP, GSA, FAA, and OGA. He has won numerous client awards and currently supports the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) as a Chief Enterprise Architect to modernize the IT landscape.
