Main Duties and Responsibilities included:1. Ensure technical accuracy and compliance of projects and contracts.2. Engage with stakeholders and clients to prepare project briefs, feasibility studies, site appraisals, and option studies.3. Manage design from inception to completion, including:• Develop Design Delivery Schedule with the design and delivery team.• Optimize design and minimize unnecessary work.• Develop scope-of-work and contract deliverables for each discipline.• Negotiate scope-of-work, deliverables, and price with consulting firms, commissioning managers, suppliers, and sub-contractors.• Appoint consultants.• Develop model cost and pricing schedules.• Compile, monitor, and manage MEP design programmes.• Manage the MEP tender process.• Lead value engineering and opportunity reviews.• Lead risk identification, mitigation, and management.• Provide technical support during construction, FATs, SATs, testing, commissioning, IST, and handover procedures.4. Review project delivery and identify technical risks or non-compliance, and develop associated mitigation measures.5. Develop new business and secure sales with existing and new customers.6. Lead opportunity; quote, enquiry data and work order status.7. Manage invoicing schedules for the division.8. Manage line management duties for the team, liaise with all company departments regarding the status, performance, training, appointment, appraisal, development, and discipline of all employees under my line management.
