Build candidate pools that will serve the team’s business environment supporting new business and on-going business. • Reads and assesses job requirements with respect to job descriptions and optimum recruiting strategies. • Screen, interview, and qualify candidates to position requirements. • Negotiate with candidates (rates, terms of employment, start date, reference checks, etc.); present offer recommendations to ensure the close. • Develop postings and advertising strategies to target and recruit candidate pools. • Research the IT recruiting industry (trade magazines, news media, web resources etc.) to identify industry trends and best practices. Participates in recruiter forums • Represent CGI at career fairs and other networking functions. • Being able to manage a high volume of requests with quick response times for both Contracts and Permanent Full-time new hires.
