About Gary Odonovan
As a Senior Scientist II at AbbVie, I contribute the design, synthesis, and screening evaluation of DNA-encoded libraries (DELs) for various therapeutic targets. DEL technology is a powerful and innovative platform for drug discovery that I have been working with for over twenty years, currently at AbbVie. With a BSc degree in Chemistry of Pharmaceutical Compounds and a strong background in medicinal chemistry, biochemistry, and oligonucleotide synthesis, I have contributed to publications in the field of DEL technology and its applications for infectious diseases, such as tuberculosis and malaria. I am passionate about advancing the science and technology of DELs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to discover novel and effective compounds for unmet medical needs. I am also committed to learning new skills, staying updated on the latest developments, and sharing my knowledge and experience with others. I constantly seek opportunities to leverage my expertise and competencies in DEL technology and medicinal chemistry to create value and impact for AbbVie and its customers.
