About Gary K.
Aerospace engineer with 10+ years across defense R&D and Boeing, completing a second B.S. in Computer Science (April 2026) to bridge the gap between safety-critical hardware engineering and autonomous systems. My career started hands-on — designing, building, and testing pneumatic ejection mechanisms for fighter aircraft at Marvin Engineering, where I learned that reliability isn\'t a feature, it\'s the requirement. At Boeing, I moved into simulation modeling, airworthiness analysis, and safety investigations for the Environmental Control Systems. Now I\'m channeling that hardware intuition into AI. My capstone project, ggSwarm, is a decentralized drone swarm framework built in NVIDIA Isaac Lab — graph neural networks for inter-agent communication, safety-guaranteed collision avoidance, and fault-tolerant formation control, trained across thousands of parallel GPU environments.I\'m looking for teams building autonomous systems where the physics actually matters — robotics, drones, aerospace, or anywhere that resilient multi-agent coordination meets the real world.

Equipment Manager for Nitrogen Generation System — validated supplier MATLAB/Simulink models against flight test data for airworthiness. Managed NGS controller through production release and frame design updates for certification.• Built “EffMath,” a Python/PyQt desktop tool that automates aircraft effectivity range expansion and Boolean set operations, replacing error-prone manual cross-referencing of safety-critical configuration data.• ECS focal for Service Related Problems on production and legacy aircraft — investigate design and operational issues, including on-site aircraft visits for testing and data collection.• Investigate potential safety items for the Continued Operational Safety Program (e.g, cabin air quality events), conduct risk and safety assessments, and present findings to technical and safety review boards.
