Engineering Manager for a team focussed on building tools to help other developers within the firm work more easily across a number of areas, languages, and toolsets; from public cloud adoption, developer desktop tooling, learning resources, and more. Writing services across a breadth of ecosystems used internally, such as Golang, Java, Kotlin, Python, TypeScript, and JavaScript. We use these to create CLIs, webapps (React), micro services, and AWS infrastructure patterns (using Terraform). Maintaining our internal platforms that help kickstart new projects for development, enabling developers to go from nothing to deployed systems with integrated authentication, logging, frameworks, frontends etc in minutes. Creating blueprints to deploy on that platform to enable the quick creation of services in many languages, workloads on many platforms, and tools in many styles. Partnering with other LOBs to understand the challenges they currently face, the solutions they\'ve already developed, and how we can work together to creates solutions that will work for everyone at massive scale. Supporting the firm through active contributions at our internal conferences and communities of practice, writing extensive documentation and learning resources for our products, and offering day 1 and 2 support through a variety of communication channels.s Additional responsibility as Enterprise Agility Lead for a product line, ensuring we were operating to the needs of the wider organisation, while ensuring teams were best able to deliver on our outcome-based product approach, slice work appropriately, and demonstrate progress towards our OKRs.
