I have been engaged in the design and fabrication of stained glass artwork for over forty (40) years. My interest in aviation since childhood was melded together with my glass crafting in the form of my business, FLYING COLORS GLASS, LLC, in 2002. Now - there\'s no limit to the range of subjects for me to create in the medium of the stained glass window. A personal endeavor is to preserve for the ages the aviation interests of each and every one of my customers. Their pictures will eventually face, their prints can deteriorate, and their electronic images likely will be corrupted, BUT the everlasting record of their love of flight will be the special stained glass artwork I will create for them.    This business was a start-up in March, 2002. Its purpose, then and now, is to meld together the artistic skillset in the medium of the stained glass windows I have developed over many years with my knowledge and understanding of aircraft design and attendant planforms and air-shapes, all in a way that would make for a profitable, high-margin revenue stream. To my knowledge there is no other business dedicated to this niche focus on making custom-designed stained glass windows of aviation themes.The marketing of this artwork at first was through three main channels: development of a website/gallery; display of my work at selected airshows/tradeshows; and in trade print media. As the awareness profile of my endeavor increased, and the costs of participation in the other venues increased beyond functional ROIs, the reliance on the website has become the channel of choice for my current marketing efforts.
