I think all of us in varying degrees feel a responsibility to make our community and our world better. If you can find this in the work that you do, even better. Maybe you don’t see it every day, maybe not even most days, but when you stay focused on what’s important and what you want to accomplish, it does happen. I love inspiring people to achieve more than they thought possible-because I get inspired at least as much in return. When I think about the people I met along the way and remember the two or three people who made me want to stretch and reach, I know that these are the ones who paid it forward and made a difference to their world and to me. And when my past and future colleagues think back about their professional lives, I want to be one of those guys. There’s no better contribution I can make.
