A Few QA Profession Highlights:• While at Westinghouse Electric Company, I verified project compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) and facilitated project success for the Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) business. I was a key participant in major I&C project deliveries to the US, Korea, and the UAE. As Quality Manager, I contributed to performance evaluations, resource planning, and assured appropriate quality function support. The quality manager was the primary regulatory and customer contact, a participant in the annual management review, and approved QMS procedures and program quality documents. • During my tenure with Dormont Manufacturing Company, a producer of stainless-steel connectors for natural gas conveyance, I mapped workflows and analyzed processes using SPC resulting in process improvement. I supported the verification of contract requirements for major capital equipment acquisition. For the Auto-Leak tester acquisition, I led post-delivery integration and development, resulting in a 99% first time through yield. • For the period at Richardson Foods, a Quaker Oats Company that produced Ice Cream toppings and McDonald\'s Ketchup and dipping sauces, I improved the sanitation function helping the facility to achieve the highest food safety and quality assurance audit score in the company. Also, I audited international strawberry growers in support of the company\'s annual purchase of this raw material. The critical-to-quality characteristic of this raw material was the residual pesticide content. The audit focused on the pesticide application technique of each supplier and enabled the company to select the right supplier. • During my work experience at Nabisco\'s Milk-Bone manufacturing facility, I used creative problem solving to relocate a flock of roosting pigeons that caused an unsanitary condition. After evaluation of the options, the company decided to install an electrified wire on the ledges of the seven-story building, and each time the pigeons tried to roost, they received a non-lethal shock, which frightened them away eliminating the problem.
