Interview, Hire and train locomotive engineers assistant conductors and conductors. Oversee fueling contractor and 8-10 mechanical contractors. Interface with NMRX commuter and BNSF railway in regard to planning and implementing handling of Amtrak trains on the above carriers. Review day to operations encompassing 1100 miles of territory. First responder in regard to collisions, derailment, injury and crossing accidents. accidents
