Working onboard COSL Pioneer a 6th Generation Semi-submersible DP3 drilling rig as ERO. Currently on a 13 well plug and abandoning charter for Nexen after preparing the vessel from cold stacked condition.Main duties Included:• Maintenance of the vessel power plant and all ancillary equipment including air conditioning and refrigeration plant. Ensuring compliance with company policies and local and international laws relating to the operation of the vessel and strict compliance with current pollution regulations and to report any deficiencies or malfunctions to the technical section leader in a timely manner.• Carrying out all routine and planned maintenance efficiently and reacting to and dealing with equipment failure quickly and decisively to ensure minimal plant downtime. Updating the STAR maintenance system and writing up reports as required.• In charge of engine room watch, taking logs and performing routines. In charge of a motorman and scheduling and coordinating his activities.• Maintenance and troubleshooting of our 6 x Wartsila 16V32 5.1 Mw engines.• Planning and executing tasks and preparing all necessary permits to work, risk assessments etc. required as per company procedure.• Heavily involved in material sourcing and ordering to ensure unit safe and efficient operation.
