I am the Cabinet Member for Strategic Infrastructure, Transport & Planning at Swindon Borough Council. Tasked with the oversight of delivering tens of thousands of homes in new urban extensions to Swindon. Delivery of Infrastructure to support growth and strategic transport (including road, rail and bus). I am also overseeing the Town Centre Masterplan & Town Centre Movement Strategy. Oversight of the Planning, Urban Forest & Landscape.My role includes delivery of the updated Local Plan for Swindon. Working with Wiltshire Council and with the Swindon & Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership. Creating a positive environment to deliver housing growth in Swindon and working with Government to deliver £100m+ infrastructure projects across the Borough.
