United Mechanical is a mechanical contractor in Dallas-Fort Worth area that does plan and spec plus design build projects. I am the design engineer for the company. I support our pre-con estimating of functions involving heating, ventilating, air conditioning, process piping, plumbing, gas piping. I provide designs for commercial and residential structures also but to a lesser degree simply because of our customers. We specialize in heavy industrial applications serving clients in the food processing industry like Pioneer Foods, Whitewave Foods, Daisy Brand Foods. We build systems for data centers, COLO facilities, Tier 4 solutions, government contractors like L3 and Raytheon. I design systems for buildings to provide people comfort, indoor air quality, dense computer room applications, energy efficient projects and LEED certified projects.My designs are in AutoCAD typically.I design systems that are chilled water, steam, hot water, direct expansion refrigerant. The equipment chosen is specific for the application and varies in size, tonnage and is suitable for situations that are regulated by the various governmental agencies for sanitary requirements.
