About Gary Perkinson
With over 30 years of experience leading investigations in both law enforcement and corporate environments, I bring a proven track record of resolving high-risk, high-impact cases with integrity, innovation, and discretion. My background spans decades of experience in investigating homicides, fraud, internal misconduct, embezzlement, insider threats, company theft, company fraud, workplace safety, and suspicious employee contacts, with an expertise in managing sensitive investigations and collaborating across legal, HR, ethics, and threat management teams. I enjoy providing innovative, fresh solutions to corporate challenges and thrive whether working independently or collaborating on a team.I spent much of my law enforcement career with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI), where I have spent almost two decades leading complex, multi-agency criminal investigations. After transitioning to the private sector, I spent eight years with The Boeing Company, where I applied my experience, working in both industrial security and corporate investigations roles. In December 2025, I was honored to accept my current job role as an Enterprise Security Generalist with NRG Energy. NRG is a Fortune 500 Company with an excellent work environment! In my current job role, I conduct security assessments on company assets, workplace-related investigations, threat assessments, and executive protection security assignments as needed at different locations inside and outside the United States. I am a graduate of the 264th session of FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia, and have both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Science degree from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma. Whether operating in a command role or working behind the scenes, I take pride in protecting people, assets, and companies through thoughtful, ethical, and strategic investigative and security-related work.
