ABOUT GARY NORGATE
Gary Norgate, Programme Director New West Suffolk Hospital. When asked what qualifies me to lead a generational project to develop and deliver a new hospital in West Suffolk, I point to four key points of experience, 1) I started life as an engineer and as such developed a methodical approach to problem solving and thirst for innovation, 2) I spent a large part of my adult life studying business and negotiating large, complex commercial deals, 3) I have spent 10 years in the NHS as a non executive director, building relationships and understanding of this institution and its patients, 4) I don\'t think I\'ve ever been asked to manage a steady state, its always been a case of transforming and improving the current position - start up, close down, turn around, build. I think these experiences allow me to make a significant contribution to a critical project. What an amazing opportunity!
