I am a self-motivated and resourceful planner working as part of a busy team effectively managing the programmes on civil engineering schemes from tender stage through to completion. I have worked in the civil engineering industry for 15 years, progressing through various site management positions into my current role. I am open, honest and a team player, communicating effectively with contractors, clients, estimating and construction teams. I have developed excellent problem solving skills and finding solutions to any issues that may arise.Current Tender Stage Responsibilities• Production of resourced programme • Determine the most efficient methods of working in consultation with estimator and supply chain• Production of outline methodology document • Production of phasing plans• Contribute to risk register• Assisting submissions team in responses to questions in quality submissions • Assisting estimating team in carrying out take-offs• Liaising with design team on D&B submissions• Determine and produce schedule of temporary work requirements• Produce schedule of time related costs• Raising and responding to queries • Contribute to risk register• Contribute to review meetings Current Construction Stage Responsibilities• Contributing to tender hand over meeting• Assist in transfer of information to construction team• Preparation of construction phase programme, confirming methods and outputs including liaison with supply chain• Communication of critical path activities to site management and procurement teams• Undertake weekly programme updates tracked to the initial (or latest accepted) baseline including addressing the effects of any changes• Report on progress, outputs and resource usage• Report on any health & safety, environmental or quality performance issues during site visits• Production of short term programmes• Assist site management team in production of progress reports
