ABOUT GARY MYHILL
My background is in the removals, warehousing and self storage industries, I have worked in the self storage industry for the last 15 years. I have experience in all areas of Facilities Management particularly within Self Storage with roles in the last 10 years ranging from facilities coordination (Helpdesk and PPM/Cyclical maintenance scheduling), facilities management roles including managing small FM teams and maintenance staff, working with external suppliers, putting together budgets and facilities project management in which I am Prince2 qualified. Recent projects include external signage installations and refurbishments, office refurbishments and refits, new store openings, access control and CCTV installations, automatic gate and shutter installations, LED lighting upgrades and external and internal storage fits out. I also have a strong understanding of Health and Safety legislation in the workplace after completing my Nebosh General certificate and am also a qualified mental health first aider.
