I have recently retired from CIBC after 38 years of service. It has been a magical ride all the way and I loved my job with a passion which has made for a very rewarding and fulfilling career. in my last few positions my focus has been on the big data space. My final role at the Bank was in the capacity of a Senior Design Consultant across the data domain. This entailed involvement in many projects with the goal of ensuring design alignment with the data vision with a focus on the migration from our Hadoop platform to the Azure cloud and the brave new world of a Data Mesh architecture.
