As the business development officer for the Community Advantage loan program, I am responsible for creating a referral network with Small Business Development Centers, SCORE and commercial lenders to assist small businesses that do not qualify for conventional financing. BrightBridge Capital is currently the sole Tennessee-based provider of the Community Advantage program which offers loans up to The Small Business Administration created Community Advantage to increase access to credit for small businesses in underserved markets. BrightBridge Capital maintains a portfolio of commercial loan programs that aim to meet the unmet needs of startup and existing businesses, as well as nonprofits, within the service areas of North Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee.
