As a result of operating within some challenging environments I am an accomplished, commercially astute and MBA-qualified Operations Manager with a wealth of transferable leadership skills and expertise gained throughout a progressive career path, leading manufacturing operations within the Engineering, Industrial Gas Turbine, Aerospace, FMCG, Electrical, Space, Defence and Automotive sectors. This career path has enabled me to develop extensive experience in leading large multifunctional teams (up to 430 employees) combined with a proven track record working with full P&L budget accountability.In relation to managerial knowledge and leadership I have 25 years’ experience within various manufacturing environments. I promote an authentic transformational leadership style which enables me to lead with a management style that aims to maximize growth opportunities, leverage lean manufacturing methodologies to spearhead business transformations and shape operational organisations to deliver against challenging revenue and productivity growth, cost reduction and efficiency improvement objectives.I am able to operationally embrace different sectors and disciplines and have a demonstrable track record and longevity of success in General/Operations Management. This has been gained in numerous sizable, engineered product, manufacturing/assembly environments. I have a proven track record of driving organisational change and delivering results. As an individual I have a background in strengthening operational systems/processes, developing high performing teams and have a passion to constantly strive to exceed financial and operational performance expectations. I am equipped with a history of success optimizing strategic planning, Innovation, NPI, process improvement and total quality management activities to deliver world class Operations Excellence and a Zero Harm culture
