Monitor the operation of Company vessels, ensuring that Flag State and HSE procedures and policies are followed.• Accountable for electrical and electronic matters for all Company vessels. Managed and communicated closely with Chief Engineers on board. Part of the Emergency Response Team as required.• Ensures safe operations of ships and compliance with all international marine requirements. Provide technical assistance to on-site crews. and collaborate with warranted manufacturers to resolve equipment malfunctions or breakdowns.• Conduct regular vessel inspections and report condition of assets to Management through detailed written reporting, with both observation and recommendations.• Collaborate with onsite staff on dry-docking, upgrade/modification tender evaluation and selection of shipyards or repairers. Supervised repairs ensuring in line with maritime and company standards.• Produce monthly reports on running costs, budget variances, outstanding defects, remaining purchase requisitions, breakdowns and major repairs.
