About Gary M. Mignogna

Gary M. Mignogna has BS & MS Degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University and an MBA from the University of Lynchburg. He started his career with Babcock & Wilcox performing engineering analyses for new nuclear plant designs, and for modifications to existing plants. He transitioned to component replacement and repair services for operating nuclear plants with increasing levels of responsibility for the repair, modification, remediation, and replacement of nuclear plant components for Framatome. Over his 45-year nuclear career, he has gained experience in engineering design and analyses, project engineering & management, product development & management, field services, services tooling & process design, business development & management, and executive leadership. He was appointed Vice President of Component Replacement & Repair in Vice President of Operating Plant Engineering in 2006, Vice President of Engineering Business Units in 2008, Vice President & US Region Deputy of Engineering in 2010, and Senior Vice President & US Region Deputy for Engineering & Projects in 2012. He was appointed President and CEO of AREVA Inc. in 2014, and its successor company Framatome Inc. in 2018, a position he held until his retirement in 2023. He is currently serving as the non-executive Chairman of Framatome Inc. Additionally, he was on Boards of Framatome US Government Solutions, and SGT LLC & JV (Framatome and United E&C companies). Mignogna was also a member of the Nuclear Energy Institute’s Board, Executive Committee, and Chair of the Audit Committee. He was previously on the AREVA Inc. and AREVA Federal Services Boards. He was Chairman of the Supplier Participant Advisory Council for the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations during 2016 & 2017 and a member of NEI\'s Materials Executive Oversight Group from 2003 to 2009. He held numerous positions on non-profit church, private school and University Boards, He is currently on the National D-Day Memorial, Beacon of Hope, and Centra Health Boards.
