Based at the Dajin offshore fabrication yard in Penglai China. Leading a 16 man QC team consisting of welding inspectors, coating inspectors, Ndt and Dc inspectors. Project scope - fabrication of 36 monopiles for the Thor wind farm located off the west coast of Denmark. Fabrication of 44 monopiles for Noordsea Cluster A wind farm off the coast of Germany. Also involved in the fabrication of tower sections for the Sofia wind farm in the UK North Sea.

A self-motivated,technically and commercially astute individual with comprehensive experience of various large scale project quality roles as senior welding inspector, client inspector/representative, inspection coordinator/supervisor, vendor inspector, QC lead and fabrication quality manager with over 25 years’ experience in the heavy engineering world of welding, fabrication and mechanical industries generally related to oil and gas, renewable energy sectors. Together with a sound practical understanding of welding and fabrication practices from new build vessels to topsides and renewable projects. Tied with broad theoretical understanding of international codes/standards and QA/QC systems.Whilst ensuring all health and safety requirements are met, working at a high standard to ensure work is completed to a professional level.
