About Gary Legore

I am a third generation Miller my father worked for over 42 years and my grandfather over 40 years in a Wheat flour mill and I followed their footsteps and then in the industry for over 30 years and I’ve had the opportunity from working hard wire Mills to mills that had PLCs partially throughout and I’ve had the opportunity of being a part of full plc controlled Greenfield project turnkey flour mills and I have worked in a lot of different mills in a lot of different places in the United States and I also worked in Africa and Lagos Nigeria, I have worked with some of the best flour millers and locations throughout the USA and different parts of the world and I feel that I have a Achieved a lot of knowledge of wheat flour milling. I am looking to go back to work in a flour mill where I can help with yields,production and quality product I feel that I can go into any Wheat flour mill anywhere and make a difference in their yields production and quality of product. I also am very good at training younger Millers on how to be better Millers if they have the motivation and respect and willingness to learn,and I have several certificates from KSU one from Northern crop Institute from North Dakota for durum wheat flour milling and I have also done some training at the Buhler facility in Switzerland for software integrations for our flour mills we were building in Nigeria. Also had a fantastic tour of the Buhler facility in Switzerland.

   I was in charge of mill operations and work directly with department heads of every department and upon my arrival there yields were around 68-69 percent and upon my departure they were between 77 and 78%, very good company to work for good management and the owner chip was great and Bob Likens good guy learn very quickly about the industry and they were going to build a turnkey flower mill next to their older male but they decided not to and I was able to take their three Millers introduced them to the IAOM milling short course And two out of the three completed all the units and received their certificates within three months and the other Miller was right behind them a month later great team effort great team overall I was proud to be a part of their achievement as well as making Help in the mill produce better yields production and quality of product, Good place to work
