I have been working in the engineering/industrial pump business for many years and have a very good knowledge of engineering and pump technology, specifically: centrifugal; gear; side-channel; multistage; turbine; mag drive; liquid ring vacuum and dry vacuum pumps as well as associated equipment and packaged systems. I have experience working in business sectors: Land drainage, WTW, WwTW, chemical; pharmaceutical; power; waste; food; beverage; plastics; LPG; water; plus general OEM business. I have good application knowledge and I am very comfortable discussing in detail various applications either on plant, from an engineering drawing, or a bespoke specification. I have years of experience in sales and marketing within the pump industry, with a business and marketing degree to underpin these skills. In my current and previous positions, I have traveled extensively throughout the UK and Europe attending site meetings on sales, marketing, and technical issues.I understand most types of manufacturing processes and have specialised in pump solutions that help improve client\'s reliability, productivity and availability. I also have a broad understanding of business principals and practices which enables me to communicate effectively from shop-floor to board-room.
