   As the Director of Environmental at Chord Energy I have the privilege to develop, mentor, and lead a highly effective team of people that build and implement the environmental programs that help the organization optimize production in an environmentally compliant and responsible manner. At Chord Energy the components of Environmental, Health and Safety are quickly becoming inherent to our culture, allowing my team to partner closely with Operations and a variety of other teams to put in place holistic and sustainable compliance solutions. My role has provided me the opportunity to work in a continuous and collaborative manner with our management and stakeholders to define the strategic direction of the environmental team and execute these strategies with tactical precision. I have also continued to sharpen my technical capabilities by participating in high-liability projects, leading environmental and team aspects of merger and acquisition activities, providing guidance on compliance programs and systems, and certifying SPCC plans.
