ABOUT GARY KENNEDY

Over 39 years in the civil construction industry, 21 years with Morrison Construction (UK) before relocating to New Zealand, working with Downer and March Construction Ltd. A rewarding 16 months with JFC Limited who brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise into the South Island market especially in the hard landscaping area and have skilled resources from Auckland to deliver the most demanding urban upgrade projects. Following the successful completion and delivery of the Margaret Mahy Family Park project for the City Care / JFC Ltd joint venture I accepted a position with City Care as Construction Manager for South Island Civil Construction which eventually led to becoming the General Manager for South Island Civil. A great three and a half years with City Care giving me outstanding opportunities for experience, development and growth with the added bonus of growing my network. Before leaving New Zealand to head back to the UK I was employed as South Island Area Manager with Higgins (The Green Team) based in Christchurch, part of the Fletcher Group. I am currently relocated back in the UK (Diploma in Construction, CSCS Black Card, SMSTS, 1st Aid, IOSH) working with key clients and suppliers on improvements and upgrades within the Water & Waste Water Industry. An extremely diverse career within the civil construction industry, working with many amazing people. Hopefully many more challanges to overcome, experiences to be had and always building my circle of influence.
