I have recently specialized in distributed storage performance at Nutanix.Most recent role- Founding Engineer for Nutanix performance engineering group (2013)- Grew team to ~20 engineers across US, EMEA, India. Promoted two engineers to manager roles- Recruited performance testers and product engineers, founded east coast engineering office- Created Nutanix X-ray product which enables advanced benchmark and resilience testing in distributed storage- Created distributed performance data collection and support analysis tool- Created automated performance ready-reckoner for sales engineers- Contributed to numerous performance improvements in performance and caching- Patent awarded for cache management with disjoint response times- Created and delivered deep-dive training for sales and support engineers globally. SPC-1 and SFS benchmarks - Solaris Kernel and Perforance analyst at Sun Microsystems. Worked on OS performance and kernel panics with Oracle DB workloads and large SMP systems.
