I am part of Stags Professional Team covering Cornwall and Devon. I lead the Survey department and conduct Level 2 (Homebuyers) and Level 3 (Building Surveys) on a full range of properties across Cornwall and Devon ranging from traditional cottages to new build houses and everything in between. My particular interest is the survey of traditional period properties including large country houses, listed buildings and those of architectural merit. I also prepare Structural Surveys to accompany planning applications for agricultural barns into residential dwellings and provide specialist defects and compliance advice for court of protection instructions and managed properties.I regularly receive Expert Witness instructions from solicitors and private clients to produce CPR 35 compliant reports. Recent instructions include a matrimonial valuation of a part renovated residential property, a valuation of residential property and agricultural land for potential solicitor negligence, plus a valuation of investment properties and land for an inheritance dispute. I receive a range of valuation and associated instructions from solicitors, accountants, other professionals and private individuals on many aspects and types of property related issues across Cornwall and West Devon. My key interest and specialism lies in the valuation of high end residential properties together with those with income potential or producing elements. I am experienced in producing valuations for inheritance and other taxation matters alongside traditional lending security work.
