Operations Manager within the Data & Voice Service Delivery department responsible for technical provisioning teams dedicated to delivering customer services across all Vodafone MPLS networks. Performing a \"Gating\" Authority role, accountable for managing all new activity such as Business Projects, New Product Development, New Customer bids and process improvement initiatives into the department.* Line management of technical teams, development of managers/team leaders and their direct reports* Strategic planning of department to support new customer bids, volume forecasting, and new products* Shared accountability of annual budget of c£5m across functional management team* Accountable for the development and delivery of a Technical Career Path (TCP) and associated skills matrix. Business lead for the provide function in relation to the business Technical Career Framework* Accountable for the delivery into live operations of all New Products, inclusive of delivery process, testing (ORT/UAT) technical documentation and engineering training* Delivery of simplification and automated provide solutions* Key stakeholder in business change decisions where the provide function is directly impacted. Advise on process, impact, capabilities and any associated cost* Network Management Systems integration, inclusive of testing, training, authoring of technical documentation and identification of functionality improvements* Delivery of an off shore capability* Identify and lead both performance and process improvement initiatives across the department to drive efficiency and realise capacity release* Significant stakeholder management experience* Accountable for tracking and reducing unit cost* Business Continuity Management: Plan manager for major incidents within all operational locations both on and off shore, to deliver business continuity for the department output* Hold current SC Government security clearance
