I\'m an Operations Manager working in general haulage, looking after a 50-vehicle fleet. My main focus is keeping things running smoothly day to day - making sure jobs go out on time, routes are planned properly, drivers are supported, and everything stays compliant.I take pride in doing things properly. Whether it’s making sure PODs are sorted, tackling issues with deliveries, or keeping on top of health & safety, I believe the detail matters - especially when it affects customer service or compliance.I’m big on clear communication, helping the team work together, and building simple, solid systems that people actually follow. I don’t believe in overcomplicating things - just doing the basics really well, every time. That’s what keeps customers happy and the operation running without problems.Right now, I’m focused on improving our processes, reducing failed deliveries, and making sure our service is reliable and consistent. I’m always happy to share ideas and connect with others in the industry too.
