Oversight of Underwriting Control Framework which includes Internal and external Independent Peer ReviewWork with Compliance and Risk Management teams to strengthen the underwriting monitoring process and feedback loops.Monitoring underwriting ensuring we remain aligned with the Lloyd’s approved Syndicate Business Forecast (SBF) and our risk appetite, investigating any potential deviations. Providing input on the agenda and deliverables for the Underwriting and Claims Committee (UCC) meetings; attending the meetings and those of the UCC sub-groups.Attending the Operations Committee, reporting on activity and priorities, and helping to further develop our Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Overseeing the operational onboarding process for individual underwriters and any new lines of business, supporting in the provision of any necessary trainingOverseeing the development and compliance with the Lloyd’s principles-based standards, and developing a relationship with Compliance and Risk Management to achieve this within Decision Focus, the GRC management system.Oversee the Management of the Delegated Underwriting function including a DA Manager making sure there is a timely and effective process in place for onboarding and monitoring of any new Coverholders, DCAs or TPAs. This includes managing the ongoing performance monitoring of existing Binders, Lineslips and ConsortiumsOverseeing the onboarding of any new Broker relationships including TOBA managementManagement of Credit Control including timely and effective management information reporting via the credit control dashboard.Manage outsourcing providers, for example for Operational Resilience, Vendor Management, Broker relations and Delegated Authority and BDX Management
