Hood Container\'s growth through acquisitions necessitated the creation of a Supply Chain Team. My team is responsible for supplying 10 box plants through internal mill production, trade agreements, and direct buys. We oversee the paper ordering process, forecasting, rollstock pricing maintenance, and overseas purchases. We work with the IT organization to make sure that EDI is functioning between vendors and our plants. We are responsible for helping the box plants maintain adequate inventory levels and remain within acceptable ranges.
