Thirty years’ experience in the defence industry initially starting with a technical apprenticeship and progressing through engineering, project management and line management.The majority of this time has been spent working on military systems and sub systems although some diversion into civil markets has occurred. Able to work individually on small projects or as part of a larger team both within BAE Systems or as part of a larger consortium.Engaged in the promotion of engineering in education and an activity STEM ambassador supporting multiple events each year. Heavily involved in the BAE Systems education support programme managing work experience, industrial placements and new graduates within the company.A full member of the IET since 2001 and a chartered engineer since 2002.Membership of the APM since 2016.Experience1.
