I am a Senior Commercial Manager and latterly Director, who has been involved in the complete building cycle from pre-contract negotiation through project set up, subcontract negotiation and placement, project valuation and the identification and assessment of variations and where necessary claims for loss and expense. Some projects have required the identification and proactive management of time and efficiency related claims from day 1 of the contract, with the management, preparation and submission of the prerequisite condition precedent documents and reports.Some claims have involved coordinating with external solicitors and claims consultants for the preparation of adjudication proceedings and providing ongoing support to them once submitted.I have been based during the last 15 years in the South of England and London. Latterly they have been exclusively on high value, very complex building projects with manufacuring sources from various locations in Europe and I have had to work with various different nationalities and currencies as part of my roles. Latterly I have acted as Commercial Director of Permasteelisa UK Ltd, controlling the commercial activity of a company responsible for the facades of many of London\'s landmark buildings.I have now sought a better work life balance and resigned from PUK to work more local to my home near Bristol
