Previously interim and new permanent CEO I have been employed to ensure the voice of the Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector is heard, especially in the conversations surrounding integration of health & social care. The Community Sector has a lot to offer in a world where demand is ever increasing, budgets are being cut and where support for those needing care needs to be based on communities and people\'s strengths, not just clinical interventions. Working with senior leaders from local authority and health partners gives me a unique viewpoint in understanding the issues. My ability to grasp the details but to then apply strategic solutions working with CWVA members is leading to some exciting developments.
