About Gary Cimperman

Tennis pro by day, writer by night. While the winds of a recession may have blown my projected career off-course, I adjusted and am currently thriving in the tennis professional industry. Coaching for over a decade now, I have won numerous awards and have built a new life for myself. I believe that my education allowed me to effectively pivot into a new industry, carve out a niche for myself, and contribute to my local/regional community. Throughout my time coaching, I have been honored with numerous awards and distinctions from a variety of regional and national organizations. Perhaps most notably I was awarded the 2013 U30 Professional of the Year with USPTA Southern. I continue to serve on national and regional boards, adhering to my drive to further grow the game. While I love what I do, I continue to feel a yearning to put pen to paper. Over the years I have been published in magazines and newspapers alike. In addition, I have been asked to speak at conferences across the country. It is my hope to further develop my writing skills across a broader scope of topics.
