My career has focused on asset management, design, commissioning, laboratory analysis and safety / compliance management.My experience and skillset covers the following: • Chemical Process Engineering in the water industry, qualified to BSc, MSc and EngD level • Water, Wastewater & Sludge / Bio-resources Process Engineering design, commissioning, and operation • Hazardous Area Classification under the DSEAR regulations • Water industry asset management with a project portfolio of circa £150million • Extensive experience in major Civils / MEICA projects interpreting Engineering Risk Assessments, Safety Reviews, FDS’s, P & ID’s, Civils drawings, Mechanical drawings and Electrical/Loop drawings • Health and safety legislation relevant to the water industry (e.g. DSEAR, PUWER, LOLER, COMAH, CDM). NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction H&S• Extensive experience in process safety management through Root Cause Analysis, Hazard Studies 1 – 7, LOPA and FMEA / FMECA studies • Management of Change procedures for temporary and permanent asset alterations on high hazard sites e.g. AMP5 Esholt Thermal Hydrolysis and AMP6 Hull Anaerobic Digestion
