Perform front line engineering support for on-air operations at NBC Sports Group’s studios in Stamford, Connecticut for a number of shows including Football Night in America and the Emmy-winning Premier League. Assist with configurations of studios and production control rooms to meet production requirements. Respond to requests for engineering support during production and make time-critical repairs/workarounds. Assist Operations and Production staff with operating equipment. Document issues and create and track RMAs with facility management system. Create SOPs for performing repeated Engineering functions for use with the entire group. Assist Systems Integration with new installations. Use Evertz Magnum for router configuration and Evertz VistaLink for monitoring/card configuration. Work with vendors to upgrade software/firmware.
