   Commercial lenders have trusted Gary’s advice and knowledge for several decades. He consistently works to ensure the best possible outcomes in bankruptcies, workouts or commercial litigation. As a national and regional insolvency counsel, Gary has represented secured lenders, landlords, lessors, preference defendants, buyers in 363 sales and creditors’ committees in commercial financial restructurings and bankruptcies and is special insolvency counsel for a number of bank clients. In addition, he has served as a court-appointed bankruptcy examiner and a Chapter 11 responsible person of a large restaurant group. Among Gary’s noteworthy accomplishments: Advised the unsecured creditors’ committee in the Farmland Industries bankruptcy – with scheduled debt of $1.9 billion. Payment to unsecured creditors in the case was more than 100 percent of allowed claims. Served as national insolvency counsel for floor-plan financing division of Fortune 100 company for more than five years. Represented national, regional and community banks in insolvency matters for nearly 30 years. Gary coordinated the development of the firm’s Extra AdvantageSM Case Management System, where clients have extranet access to shared private files and reports, and clients can achieve efficiency and cost savings in the management of their cases.
